Lust List: Top Half

Now that I've gotten some awesome jeans, I need more awesome tops to pair with said awesome jeans. At least, that's my logic. I'm really feeling obnoxious colours, things that look like cheesy Hawaiian shirts but aren't, cool prints, and details that'll look good with everything. So now, when I go shopping for Sedona, I'm hunting for cool tops and adventure shoes.
Seriously, though, these jeans are going to go through so much. Nearly as much as my favourite moccasins. I look forward to it.

Twenty-Two

Since I forgot the jacket I was going to wear in Carpinteria (awesome move on my part. Oh, well, I fit into Casey's extra jacket, and my mom brought one from home, so I didn't freeze), I ended up changing that entry on my 30x30 list. Greet its replacement: a top I haven't worn since high school. It's been at least two years. I used to wear it all the time with jeans, back when I wore jeans every day. Every. Single. Day. For two years straight. People wonder why I never wear them anymore—I'm sick of 'em! That's beside the point, though.
I decided to wear my leggings, and I tried the shirt on a whim. Behold: TUNIC. Leggings and tunic-like-shirts are my go-to looks for outdoor things, like hiking or music festivals. And thus I have rekindled my love with this top.

Top: Torrid | Leggings: WalMart | Shoes: Payless | Room: still messy. Sorry, guys!

One

First order of business for the summer: get up at two-thirty in the afternoon, which was glorious. I regret nothing.
Second order of business for the summer: get dressed and take pictures. I used two items from my list, the flutter-sleeve blouse and the eyelet skirt. I really should make a master item post.

Skirt: Fashion Bug | Top: Marshall's | Shoes: Payless | Ring: Vintage (for two bucks, living la vida awesome) | Cuff: vintage (hand-me-down, actually)
My hair is barely acceptable, but that's okay, because it will soon be full of chlorine and happiness. That's right, the third order of business for the summer: swimming. And hopefully not getting sunburned. Challenge accepted.
