Red and White and Black All Over

I was contacted a couple of weeks ago by Firmoo.com, and they offered to send me a pair of glasses. The trouble is, I actually have really good eyesight. While that isn't ordinarily troubling, it is when a glasses company offers you a free pair of glasses. Then, of course, I found out that they can tint lenses for any frames, and that the lenses don't even have to be special. Et viola, sunglasses.

Guys, I really, really love sunglasses.
Anyway, even though I got sunglasses, they do, in fact, offer glasses for people who actually require them. The best part: they're all really, really cute. There are colours and prints and good things all over the site, and I like all of that.
While I put in my order, there was a bit of trouble (entirely my doing, because half the time I don't pay enough attention to things), and they solved the problem instantly and politely, probably not even making fun of me in their heads. Since I got the lenses tinted, they took about a week and a half, and they were everything I could have hoped for. They came with a hard case, a soft case, a cloth, and a little repair kit in case I lose an arm (a glasses arm, not a real arm. I'd need a doctor for that, not tiny screws).
I've been wearing them nonstop because they're really cute, and they're just dark enough that the sun and I don't hate each other. Plus the arms are different colours, which is a detail that I really like.
And here's something really cool: they have this thing called the First Pair Free program. Basically, that means that your first pair is free with shipping. Like, you can get glasses for seven dollars. How awesome is that?
I'll tell you how awesome.
Very awesome.
Ignore the sunburn, but nothing else.

This has been a sponsored post. The product was provided for free, but the review was my own honest and unbiased opinion.

Right Turns

Once again, I went driving and realised that, wow, it had been a while. Not good.
Luckily, I did as I always do: keep driving and remember to do all that stuff drivers have to remember. I was better at the end than I was at the beginning.
Also, I spent a bit of time looking at all of my hair accessories last night, putting away the ones that don't look good or won't work with my hair now, and I've discovered that headbands and pixie cuts are meant to be.
I really need a new pair of tights. These are slowly becoming
made of holes.

Lust List: Headgear

I'm not sure if it's just me, or if it's a universal pixie cut fact, but my head gets cold more easily than ever now, and I don't like that. I'll be especially glad when winter stops doing its thing and lets spring take over.
Of course, last night was both cold and windy, so that might have something to do with my head being freezing the whole time, but I choose to assume it's due to my short hair.
Anyway, I spent quite a lot of time trying on hats, mostly to see what I could pull off now. And since it seems like the pixie goes hand-in-hand with hats, I made this list.
Maybe I can find some nice, warm beanies soon. Either that, or this cold has got to stop doing what it's doing.

Update

Out of curiosity on my part, as well as several strangers, I decided to Google the words on this necklace, hoping it might solve some mysteries.
Nope! If anything, I am now more confused.
So now I've come to the conclusion that it has to do with some cult that really, really enjoys volleyball.
Just in case you were wondering, too. And the next time someone asks what it means, I'll just tell them a very (very) long story about this cult and the fantastic, underdog victory in 1983 against some weird Russian private school.

Fourteen

Erm, so I didn't get an outfit photo today. Sorry. But, I did take a lot of pictures. I basically wore a repeat outfit anyway, so it works. I wore this dress and these sandals.
Let's look at a face that isn't mine today, though, shall we?

She falls in love with food all the time.

Our hideout has awesome acoustics. Perfect for spontaneous
performances of "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Casey and I went to the farmer's market for the first time in three weeks. It was bizarre—we go so often that we like to think that we're friends with half of the vendors. Well, some of them. Like, five.
Anyway.
We wandered, had lunch at the nice little place called Juice Box (expensive, but delicious. It evens out, I think), met up with Erika and her boyfriend (actually, they found us sitting in an alcove to beat the heat), and had frozen yogurt. I love frozen yogurt, and Casey loves all things gummy. We also sang in our hideout and spent a bit of time at an open mic night. We didn't actually catch any of the open mic part, but we'll try again.
Thursdays have missed us.
We'll back to our regularly scheduled outfit posts tomorrow. Promise!
