This week's theme: maxi skirts or dresses!
You know how I totally play favourites with items of clothing? Today was no exception. I love this skirt. I paired it with boots and a jacket, effectively covering most of my body and keeping me safe from this ridiculous dust storm my town's been caught in. It's absurdly windy, and everything smells like dirt, and you can barely see for all the dust outside. It's like a brown fog, but more...particulate.
My mom and I braved the Dust Bowl-like outside world to get groceries. In the brief minutes between house and car, it already felt like I was coated in the stuff.
Not pleasant.
Hopefully, the others have had nicer weather.

That cat is adorable! And of course, I love the outfit, too :) I really like your skirt. You know, I've never seen a dust storm, but my dad is from West Texas so we always hear stories....it definitely sounds unpleasant. I hope your weather improves!

It's funny, cause the sky was so dull and brown yesterday, but it was pristine blue today. I wonder where all the dust went...?
That skirt is gorgeous! The semi-sheer material and the print are just beautiful. Oh and I love those boots to a ridiculous level, I'm obsessed with lace ups even though I'm too lazy for ones that go too high.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm always a bit torn between thinking it's a little scandalous (I love short skirts, but not tight short skirts, I'm neurotic) and thinking it's perfect lazy attire. But then I'm cool cause I know it's BOTH.
DeleteAnd these boots are the best, they were a steal at $20! The best part, though, is that they zip up the side. Haha.
