Going White

It's Monday again, and it's time to make it marvelous, yo. Run right over here if you're new to the wonderful world of Marvelous Mondays and learn to enjoy this.
This week's theme: an outfit inspired by a piece of art.
I didn't do much today, just a bit of shopping with my mom, though I did come away with a cool new backpack and new wallet (finally). Either way, I chose something fairly simple to emulate this gorgeous painting.
"When She Went White, She Went White"
by Kris Knight

Sorry about the blurriness.

Top, bangles: Forever 21 | Necklace: DIY | Skirt: mom's | Tights: WalMart | Shoes: Vans | Bag: Target
Now, go pay a visit to the others. I'm stoked to see what they've done, and I'm sure you are, too. Right?
Right.

  1. Awesome, I love how you stuck with the color pattern but really made it your own. And the collar on your shirt is so flipping cool.

  3. Adore the colour palette you went for! I am seriously in love with this whole outfit, the collar, the tights, the bangles being the exact right colours! (◕‿◕✿)

And that necklace is so pretty too! Love the whale shape.

Never heard of this artist before, but its a beautiful painting.

    1. Thanks! The bangles were serendipity. And I made whale necklace was mostly because I found the pendant and was like, yup, I need more marine creatures in my life. So that happened.
I've never heard of them either, I just randomly found the painting on Pinterest. I love sifting through the art section. :)
