Anyway, it's another Marvelous Monday! I know! If you don't know what that is, go right here and learn.
This week's theme: sheer tops.
I have a handful, actually. Those great collared tops I wear? All sheer. At least vaguely so. I usually wear camisoles underneath, but I've recently discovered just how much I love layering. I was going to layer one of those tops under this dress, but then I remembered Sian's outfit from a recent Marvelous Monday. More specifically, the top. I've worn it before, as you all know, but I guess I've forgotten all about it.
Either way, this is what I wore to get citrus fruits and a mocha that wasn't really a mocha at all. There was caramel on it. I don't trust people who like caramel; they seem shifty.

First of all cute look, you're layering came out very nicely. Second of all, I guess I'm shifty because I always drink iced caramel lattes, they're my FAVE! lol, I used to do mochas, but so many places use Hershey's syrup, and I hate that shit.
ReplyDeleteI've just never liked caramel. It might be too sweet for me—same reason why I don't care for pineapple. I generally prefer tea to coffee (give me chai every day for the rest of eternity and I'll be happy), but I'm on a mocha kick lately. Haha.

I have sheers too, a lot. And I've honestly never thought of putting something opaque on TOP. That's like...blowing my mind. Thank you. Also, make your bed! Your mother might be reading this!
ReplyDeleteYou are entirely welcome, haha. And sheers are seriously just perfect, especially this time of year. When they're under something, you're warm and it's nice. When they're over something, you're cool and it's even nicer. Best thing ever for this indecisive weather we've been having.
